Description

Ultrapure water equipment in the chemical industry usually uses reverse osmosis as pretreatment and is paired with an electrodeionization (EDI) device to form ultrapure water required for production in the chemical industry. We provide economical ultrapure water equipment suitable for the chemical industry. The water production process is continuous without acid and alkali regeneration. Although the initial investment is high, our company can use different combinations of reverse osmosis, ion exchange, EDI, etc. according to customer water quality requirements to produce ultrapure water equipment that is economical and practical, meets customer needs, and is environmentally friendly.

 

 

Application 

Ultrapure water equipment in the chemical industry can be used in battery water, chemical analysis, chemical materials, product cleaning, material separation, concentration, purification, waste recycling, etc. The conductivity of pure water ranges from 0.1uS/cm-20uS/cm can meet the requirements.

  • Preparation of reaction substances: In chemical production, ultrapure water is used to prepare reaction substances, such as dissolved solid substances or diluted liquid substances with higher concentrations. High-purity water ensures the quality and purity of reaction materials.
  • Distillation and purification: Some chemical processes require pure water as raw material, such as cooling and condensation during distillation. Ultrapure water equipment can provide high-purity water to avoid unnecessary pollution of chemical processes.
  • Cleaning and rinsing: During the cleaning and rinsing process of chemical equipment and containers, ultrapure water can effectively remove residues and contaminants, ensuring the cleanliness and reliability of the equipment.

 

Working principle

  • Moisture enters the EDI system in two ways: one part enters the resin/membrane, and the other part flushes the ions that have penetrated along the outside of the template.
  • The resin captures dissolved ions in the water.
  • Under the action of the electrode, the captured ions move the anions toward the positive electrode and the cations toward the negative electrode.
  • The cations pass through the cation membrane and are expelled from the resin/membrane.
  • Anions pass through the anion membrane and are expelled from the resin/membrane.
  • Concentrated ions are discharged from the wastewater path.
  • Non-ionized water flows out of the resin/membrane.
